White Feather
Another small weaving by Sandra based on a small white feather she found on her front lawn.

Thank you Sandra, you must be getting quite a pile of small weavings by now!

Sleeveless Dress
Bev has made another pretty dress for summer but she thinks it will probably be for next year. She has one more to finish in between gardening, cleaning out the freezer, walking etc.
Well done Bev, glad to see you are keeping very busy and I hope you get a chance to wear one of your new dresses this year.

Small weaving-Lichen
This is the second of Sandra's small weavings inspired by the lichens on the dry-stone walls.
Thank you Sandra

Counted Thread Work
Bev has just finished some counted thread work which has resulted in a vibrant geometric piece.
Thanks Bev it is very pretty.

Lamps
Sue has been making lamps from Yupo paper with alcohol inks. Sue says Yupo paper is a quite strong plastic paper which when decorated with alcohol inks makes beautiful patterns. You can see the lamps below lit and unlit with LED lights so no fire risk.

They are very pretty and the colours are beautiful. They would be an asset to any room.
Thank you Sue.

Dressmaking, Embroidery and Garden Produce
Bev has been very busy. She has made a very pretty dress and I hope she has some sunny weather to wear it.
She has embroidered a very colourful crewel motif.

Thank you Bev for such a varied post.

Small Weavings
Sandra has been making small weavings based on items in her garden and down the lane, which runs past her house.
The first one was based on sheep's wool  caught on barbed wire, blowing in the wind.

Thank you Sandra
