3D Weaving inspired by Pink Rock
Sandra has had a second go at weaving a 3D piece based on a slice of pink rock.

She warped up her loom and started weaving a pattern across the bottom that would become the top.

Strips of 3/4 warps were woven separately in various shades of pink. When long enough the top warps were cut and the warp threads were pulled to make the strips curve and crinkle.
The ends were then bound and the warp ends trimmed.

The weaving was then tidied up. Thank you Sandra.

Patchwork
Anne has been very busy with her patchwork. She has finished two beautiful jewel-coloured quilts which she sent away to be professionally long-arm quilted. The colours and patterns are amazing.

A very pretty cushion from a Quilters Guild pattern.
And a very useful bag which was an idea from an Australian magazine which Anne has just started to subscribe to.
Thank you Anne for your beautiful patchwork.
