A sample of the book with three parts |
The tricky bit was cutting the paper for the pages to different sizes and then folding it in the correct place but luckily Elizabeth was on hand to sort out any problems!
Elizabeth then demonstrated drawing the position of the holes for stitching in the right places and how to make and use a template to make the holes down the spine and in the paper. We chose a matching thread to coordinate with our cover and Elizabeth demonstrated the stitching for a decorative spine.
A few members were able to finish their books, the rest took them home to complete. Thank you Elizabeth for a very stimulating and fun workshop.
